The wrong place at the right time

So yesterday was an exciting night!! I decided to have one last day off before the crunch for the finals. So I went to a friend's place and we hung out and then decided to go bowling (which btw I am consistently HORRIBLE at, to the point of hilarity! :( )... After that we decided to take a back road to get back home. So we turn on to the road and right in front of us there's a car with a drunk driver swerving all over the place... first it hit a side walk, then it swerved into the other lane (unfortunately for the driver, the road is pretty curvy)... And THEN.... coming up onto a bridge, she over compensates for under steering and BAM!... Slams right into the guard rails on the side of the bridge!!... Right there, right in front of us... It was crazy after that... all our cars stopped (our caravan was 2 cars full of people), and EVERYONE got out of the cars !... Some were calling 911, other went to the car and had to pry the keys away from the drunk driver (somehow she was trying to back out and drive away.... the way her car's wheels were, that wasn't gonna happen). The air wreaked of oil/transmission fluid, and like ten minutes later there were cops all over the place... so like they made her do the sobriety tests and everything and then they arrested her... Right there!!!.... I'm telling you it was WAY better than watching COPS or RESCUE 911 on TV!!! So two of my friends had to give statements (since we were ALL eye witnesses... exciting stuff!!) and after hanging around there for a bit, the cops said we could be on our way... on our way home we actually passed through a DUI check point... oh the irony!...
