Body art... self expression... stuff like that... It's a personal thing...

I mean, personally I would totally get my ear peirced... It's like I've had worse things done to me (in terms of surgery)... However a couple of things hold me back:

1- I'm not sure what the bible would say about that (though I think it's not such a big deal)...

2- The fact that people with piercings aren't allowed to donate blood... Especially in the LEB... (I think for about a year..)

3- The fact that piercing (of men) has such a negative stigma around it in our society... that being parents, relatives, and even most of my friends...

My opinion: the latter is totally f'ed up, and I just might do a piercing to prove a point... I've always been a person who thought things over for myself, and I'm not gonna stop being that person anytime soon...

um... I think I got carried away :P... Anyhoo, that's my general take on the subject..
